I know that comps are slowly diminishing but I have no idea what is happening to my account. I have absolutely no corp offers as of May 31. Here is my current gambling history.

I have been Platinum for 3 years now and since then I have always had some corp. offer on room and food. But very little like $25 on food and free rooms. and the past year I had like $100 of free play at Flamingo available to me each month.

I am a low roller, usually play $10 craps and $15-25 BJ. I started to play slots last year anywhere from 1 cent -$5 max bets. I usually stay for a 3 day weekend and sit at the table for at least 4 hrs daily if my cash holds.

This year I have been to Vegas 2 times. Once in Feb for Super Bowl and got 750 Tier Score that visit. Then I went in April for 5 days and went crazy with the gambling. I basically broke even with money. I got 7,200 Tier Score, which renewed by Platinum card.

Now I have no offers:grrr: I have never gotten that high of a Tier Score, and when I got home I thought the offers would be rolling in. Did CET think that this was a fluke?? Should I contact CET and see what's going on?? Right now I can basically get comp rooms on every property during the week. And Rio, Bally's, Harrah's , and Quad for free weekday and weekends. I have atrip planned in 2 weeks and would rather stay at Flamingo or Caeser's than Harrah's :rolleyes2:

just from personal experice and i gamble at higher rate than you black chip and up ive never been offerd free 100$ at flamingo or any of there properties.

but i think they over comped you for the low play you give thyem. basicaly you should get some free rooms and what ever food you get from rewards credit from gambling,

and most places are clamping down on free stuff

just a side note i did 5 hours in one seating of bj at cosmo avarage bet 400$ a hand and they gave 8 dollars towards food or what ever i want spend all 8 $ dollars on.i had to laugh when they told me how much i was getting in my account

I agree, it appears you are getting proper comps (the free rooms). I'm Diamond and all my food is through reward credits and back-end comps, never up front.

Keep in mind there's no longer a recession. Vegas tourism is up, therefore casinos don't need to be as generous to entice people to gamble.

5 days in Vegas. So, you then had 5 days of play, which were averaged, which probably lowered your AVERAGE. You could have had 6 days if you played just a little the last morning.

    So, a lower ADT.

Also, after enough visits, sometimes they figure out you are not worth it and lower the offers.

incognito: at that level I'm not sure you can expect much more than a room even at Flamingo. Earning 750 TCs over a 3 day weekend is not much play at all and probably brought your ADT down. CET offers take a couple of months to reflect a significant change in ADT, so the Feb trip is probably reflected but the April play is probably not.

And once again, your number of tier credits or your tier status does not determine comps, your ADT does. Your low play in Feb would have pulled down your ADT and that will be reflected in future offers.

Paperposter: Did you come in on an upfront suite comp at Cosmo that you had to "play off?" Even if you did, identity points should have accrued well beyond the $8 you experienced, something sounds very wrong there.

even worse im local and live here so just stopped for some bj late one nite stayed 5 hours.

if forgot the math formula for bj there but they told me and it was a joke.

i just finished going over stuff at the cosmo and even with a host who i knew from another place that now works there and yes that was the correct thing,.

ive done play before there not as long and got like 2 or 3 dollars in comps.

im sure i could ask for something but tghat wasnt the point ,they just dont give much and they told bj play doesnt give much comps there.

luckly i went from bieng down to a profite so they can have there 8 bucks.:Þ

Amazing, even identity points should accrue at a faster rate than you are describing...I wonder if they have you down as a skilled player or if there is a penalty for being local.

not a clue but as i said before this isnt the first time and unless you play in the high limite room there there table game odds are really bad ,like 6/5 ,8 deck hit s17 and stuff like that.

i lost over 5 grand in 18 minutes to them before i bought back in and won some money but it took 5 hours to do it.

trust me this play at any other casino should give me around 100$ in food atleast if not more especialy as in not a hotel guest and locals are supposed to get more so the get you into there property.

it would also be great if there website worked

Yes, I would think that play should be good for $300 in food at any other casino...presumably you were in HL otherwise their BJ is completely unplayable

Interesting, I have also seen some sudden, statistically unlikely downdrafts when cracking a new shoe @ HL in Cosmo. I mean brutal like you described, like losing 19 of 20 hands off the top. I've had this happen twice there. Presumably, this is a coincidence. Were you the only player at the table during your big downdraft?

I know, that is why it is odd that solo players get annihilated when sitting down to a fresh shoe--let's take this to PM, we have completely hijacked this thread. Sorry.

It was about a player at Flamingo who has seen his upfront offers drop, for those who are still tuned in.

TO dankyone and paperposter I believe that the cards are rigged in the HL room. I played the slots there in Dec. and I was basically the only one in there and the table were absolutely empty. But I can't complain since I was doing well on the slots in there.

Anyways thanks, everyone for their input. I know my ADT will drop in the summer since I'm usually at the pools (I live for the pool parties) and clubs which leaves me with very little time to gambling. But it never affected my comps the last few years, with the little gambling I do in the summer. I'll just wait and hope I'll get something. I guess the tides are changing. And it sucks.

Why do you believe the cards are rigged in HL at Cosmo? I don't, really, but still find it odd that solo players have experience getting mashed right upon sitting down. I realize I am dealing with a small sample set but I don't like it.
