CET has been sending paper mail offering the chance to switch to offers by email only?

Have you been getting these or are they just pushing this with Canadians?

If you have switched, has it worked well?

I got one. I thought it was funny and wondered how many trees died so that Harrahs could let us know that they are going to be conserving paper.

Oddly enough I was asked when I signed up if I preferred snail mail or email. I told them I liked snail mail.

I've never gotten a damned thing from them via snail mail, I do however get at least 5 email's a week from them. I wish I would have never given them my email address.

I did get this (I am Canadian) the same week I got two different offers from Planet Ho- One was for $500 in free play, five free nights over a weekend, and free entry into a drawing for a potion of 200K in free play. The second was for $300 in free play, three nights on the Monday-Wednesday immediately following the other offer, and entry into some slot tourney with 75K in total prizes. Three weeks or so ago, I got some offer for three midweek nights in the Quad, and $30 in free play.

Had I not received the above, I would have gladly switched to e-mail offers, and in fact that is what I'd originally signed up for. Were I to guess, I'd say my play more likely warrants the middle offer, rather than the $500 one. I think I'll keep the snail mail coming in, for the time being, just in case the e-mail offers figure out I'm being potentially over-comped.

Besides, both the USPS and Canada Post lose buckets of money, and the taxpayer foots the bill, so Caesar can pay a little tax for me, Lord knows I've given them the wherewithal so to do.

There are lots of good ways to be green, and I'm in favor of most of them. But not here.

The more you get from a casino, the more likely it is to get something that works for you. I like mailers because they are easy to keep in a folder until they expire, but if a good offer comes in an email, as the result of a phone call, or by pony express, I'll use it if I can.
