I booked an offer that gives me $300 in Casino Play. I have never had this before. What is the process of actually getting the play and is it chips or slot credits? Thanks for your help.

You'll get it from either the cashier or the total rewards desk.

Slot credits are Tito like slips that you just put into the slot machine. The table play are slips given out to you from the total rewards desk, with some denomination on them, such as $50, that you can wager just like chips. You keep the slip if you win your bet, and can keep playing it until you lose. Even money bets only.

Beware: Some of these freeplay "chips" are "one time only", i.e., they take the chips whether you win or lose

Usually at CET you can choose if you want the free play for slots or table vouchers. I've also been given a choice of property to use the free play at if I opt for slots. If I have chosen the free play for tables, it's always been vouchers (you may get a choice of denomination to use) that are play until you lose, even money only. Although some properties will let you use them at a craps table and pay 2x for 2 or 12. I've never seen promotional, one time only chips used at CET.

If you take your free play for slots, try to get smaller denominations (maybe $20s) instead of $100s. You have to cycle through the free play before you can take it out. So if you put in a $100 free play ticket and hit big on the first spin, you can take the big hit out, but will have to cycle the balance of the $100.

Depends on Cet hotel, but I've picked up mine at the tr desk in the palace tower at Caesars. They can be used at any Cet casino. As has been mentioned. They are "use til you lose". Which is pretty sweet. My home casino, I get them and they are 1 and done win or lose. I'll usually put 1 $50 certificate(litter bigger than a bill) w chips at blackjack. I've got free play next month too. Almost like having a free buy in for a blackjack session. Where are yours from?

Thanks for the responses. I booked the offer at Caesars. Since it's even money only I can't use them on the inside on Roulette right?

correct. I should have clarified. At some properties, I was able to use the voucher for a field bet at the craps table. I was paid 2x for a 2 or 12. Other than that, I've only been able to use them for an even money bet.

As an FYI, a floor man told me that he rates a voucher as $0.01.

My last trip I had to pick up my freeplay at the Cashier Cage, which I found odd.

My experience at Caesars has been different - I always pick up mine at the main cage. Usually if I am getting something else (gift certificates, shopping vouchers, etc.) it is picked up at a special total rewards setup but the only comp related item I have ever picked up at an actual total rewards desk is the Diamond qualification dinner $100 voucher.

It depends on the promotion. Sometimes, you pick them up at the cage or at the promotions desk.

Where have people seen the casino play as a one time bet? I've only had multi use vouchers for table games.

And why won't CET use promo chips and electronically load slot credits instead of these paper vouchers? They kill so many damn trees with their promotional method.
