How long does it usually take the Travel Passport folks to book your flight? Does it take longer for Canadians? The rep said it would take a week or two. Not sure why it would take this long. We gave the flights, days, passport info, etc.

    Week or two?

Are they out of their mind. Should be same day. Maybe 2-3 if they are real busy. Maybe something extra for intl, but since anyone can book in flight in 5 minutes online...???

Normally takes 5-7 days each time I use them for booking Seven Stars trips.

If it takes that long for 7*, guess one to two weeks isn't out of the norm. I hope the flight doesn't fill up.

If you've used Travel Passport, can you tell me how they contacted you when they finally booked the flight?

Husband has a call into the sales rep who set up the hotel and she was passing all our desired flight info onto the TP folks. Haven't heard anything from them and now flights are over $200 more each just one way.

It will be two weeks tomorrow that we started these arrangements.

I email host. Host emails them. They email host back with flight info to verify, as they state they will book it in 24 hours if not told differently. Then I get email from host to verify info. Nothing for a week.

I email host back a week later to verify it is booked. He thinks it is booked. I didn't get reservation number yet from anyone, so how do I know. I call Passport Travelto get the reservation number. They had booked it, don't know when. I change the seats to what I like. All is good.

Ok, that happened this last time. The time before that, I did get emailed the reservation number via host, after Passport Travel emailed host.

I am a control freak, and would rather just do it myself.

Just call Passport Travel and ask them, then you will know for sure.

HOUtoLAS, do you have the phone number for PT? I can't find it in a search.

I just searched and found it in an old message - (800) 871-4465.
Let me know what happens! I've been trying to book my trip for over two weeks too.

They should be able to book airline tickets in a matter of minutes. Sure, they must have some busy days, but taking 1-2 weeks as a norm is insane. Something is wrong here.

Thanks. I saw that. I had been given a different number in a recent email from PT that I called 2 weeks ago. Julie has it now.

Thanks for all numbers and input. For what seems like something that should be a simple procedure in this electronic day and age is nearly finished. I think.

Honestly, this would be so much easier if the eligible person were to show up at a TR desk or a host, show their pre-paid airfare and get a casino credit for up to the $750 spent.

Why CET is paying for Passport Travel emplyees doesn't make any sense, IMO. This is my frustration with the system talking. :rolleyes2:

We should have been finished with this 2 weeks ago. Because we extend our trips, there is a second part of this CET stay involved and until the airfare is settled, we're booking nothing. If the airfare falls through, we are considering a non-Vegas trip to someplace hot.
