going to windsor for a couple of days and looking for restaurant recommendations

i have been to the bufffet a few times, and love the desserts, but hubby can`t live on desserts alone - I can

I have not eaten in any of the other restaurants at the casino but we do have a car so they don`t really have to be close to the casino

I saw on `you gotta eat here` a restaurant called the twisted apron - the mac and cheese benny looks awesome and we are thinking about going there for brunch one morning

also saw on `you gotta eat here` a restaurant called Rino, it looked interesting but not somewhere i need to go

just seeing if there are any secret restaurants in windsor that we should try out

I ate at Nero's last month. The prime rib was good but the sides were insipid and the scallop appetizer was a mess. Maybe I was just unlucky.

I stayed at a local hotel for one night and the desk recommended House of India, but it ended up being closed for a family emergency, so I have no first hand knowledge.

A Detroit tourism magazine is in the Caesar's hotel rooms, and as you can imagine there is much more available if you're willing to drive across the border.

TUNNEL BBQ!!! About three minutes from the casino and has great food. Every time we went to Casino Windsor, we ended up there for a meal.

There's a Mediterranean restaurant in the August lobby area. I always have lunch or dinner there. There's a discount with your players card.

Roast in Detroit is very good. Slows BBQ is also a very popular choice.
