Curious what they do to table limits during SB weekend. I know there are a lot better places to play but I have schadenfreud, love to see the grumpy dealers and the pit sweat.

Last SB weekend I was there was right after they went down to one table (stupid move) and it was $5. That was on the Friday night before. We walked thru there Sunday after the game and I was shocked to see a $10 game.

I enjoy watching the pit sweat too. I have a desire to walk in there one time and buy in for a grand and play heavy green action just to see them sweat. Hopefully it would be a hot roll and the suits would bust out the stupid tricks of unnecessary chip fills, checking the dice, watching every roll like a hawk, yelling about the dice being too high/short and most of all saying "seven" while eyeballing the shooter. I've seen all of that there.

Once - in my early Vegas days - when I was learning to play and was only comfortable on a $5 game my girlfriend and I were there. Super hot roll. Great table. The pit was sweating the action hard and I didn't quite comprehend why because I was a newbie. The cool older fella next to my girlfriend and I was in a suit and playing green and black. He said something to them and the response to him was to "go back to the Wynn where you belong". We were shocked. The guy took it in stride and said something along the lines of "not until I clean out your black chips"

Place is pretty much always packed from what I've seen. I don't think they jack up the table game minimums like the other properties do.

That's pretty funny. I've never played there. Do they really sweat green, black chip players?

    Most of the time, yes.

The only time I ever saw them not get tight around the collar with greens and blacks on the table (not that it happens often there) was an early morning when no suits were around.

    Haha!

I wonder if they even have yellow chips there? I bet whichever floor boss was on that night got ripped for your win. Good job

Prior to my last trip, the only times I played dice at CR was when I was completely hammered and was pretty oblivious to the state of mind of the suits there. Last trip I actually played there sober one afternoon, and I realized why other posters on here said they hate playing there. My friend and I went there and had the one table to ourselves, we both bought in for 500, but the way the bit boss acted you would have thought we were playing HL numbers. We joked about taking advantage of the 100x odds, but we did play 20x odds. The pitboss was watching closely and it was pretty clear he was actively rooting against us. The session started off great, we hit a couple points and I was up well over my buy in. Then we both PSO'd back to back and the pit boss had this big smirk on his face...it was almost like we were playing head-to-head the way he was acting. I cashed out, took what little winnings I had left, and have never been back since to play craps.

I have a habit when I play craps of putting chips in my pocket as I win them, so that I always walk away with something. And the next day discovered some chips during pocket dump. So that afternoon I walked back over just to cash in the chips. The one table was completely full, and it was obviously hot. You've never seen college kids and low rollers go so crazy over $1 prop bets before. But as I walked by on my way to the cage two pit bosses were talking and the one said "we're getting killed AGAIN!"... as if it were the end of the world. There was barely any red in the racks, just a bunch of white and no green or higher to be seen. I'm not sure how that place gets so worked up over such small bets. I have hard time believing they are only treading water, because the place is always swamped.
