On my first couple of trips to LV, I remember enjoying a steak dinner special upstairs at Casino Royal in their restaurant. Nothing fancy but the dinner was good. I haven't been there since. Is the restaurant still there? Do they have specials? How is the food?

You mean the Outback Steakhouse? Still there and food is average. Never noticed any specials.

Outback is a relatively new thing. They did have a restaurant and I don't remember the name if there was one. They had a prime rib special that was $5.99. It was pretty good but for some reason they replaced it with Outback.

Outback is like all the others in that chain, looks like regular menu.
I use my comps there. Also comps on good at Dennys and guess the food wall, not really a food court. That and the ice cream place are the food places.

Right you are, Leo. My wife and I had nice dinner upstairs in the original diner several years ago, looking right out over the Strip, watching the "volcano". Once they changed it to the Outback, it lost its "Vegas" appeal.
