looks pretty cool......
Live report on this as I watch. Seems staged like every other reality shows. Boo. Entertaining, but not what I was looking for.
It is ramping me up for my trip this weekend though!!!
Watching it now. Not really sure what it is yet ...
Film at 11.
I got the DVR on, but the paper says it's a "new" show... the guide says 2011?
I think it was filmed in 2011 and shown in Canada, but first time broadcast in US. Not 100% sure I am right.
The die on their logo shows a 3 and a 4 at the same time!......Come on, man!
Yes, that is correct. It was created by one of the Canadian cable TV providers and aired last year on "TVTropolis" in Canada.
Man you are quick! I'm watching it now too and thought....I should post something about the fact that I would never think a casino would ever, ever put a new hire on a live blackjack table on their FIRST DAY without proper training??
I thought all dealers had to go to school for this stuff? Hell, if this is true I'm heading for Binion's next trip and looking for the girls with the "I'm New" look on their faces.
There are degrees of staged, though. There's staged like the "Vegas Stripped", the South Point reality show that seemed to mostly feature some manufactured drama and careful editing, and then there's staged like "The Casino", which was basically a scripted soap opera that happened to be filmed at the Golden Nugget.
I caught both episodes of this...
Ended up changing the channel
This new worst tattoo show is much more entertaining!
Yeah, that wasn't even believable. And after they are fully trained, they get to hone their skill on the 9:00 AM shift against last nights drunks and Grandma Ethyl.
Ditto poker. If they didn't have enough dealers for that tournament, they should have either capped entries or else the poker room manager is incompetent for not bringing this up a LOT sooner and hiring temps from Los Angeles, Reno, etc. for a couple of days.
I agree... I kept watchin', but only cause I'm addicted to "all thing Vegas", the rest of the family bailed.
I am turned off by television shows that claim they are reality but are blatantly staged.
I didn't think most of the show was that staged. The scene where the girl at the bar began talking trash to the show girl most likely was. I am not sure about the scene where the guy at the wedding part goes back in the kitchen asking for his steak. Someone might have been drunk enough to do that.
In the second episode, the race card driver was a good story.
I turned that off after 5 minutes. In my not so humble opinion, "worst" and "tattoo" are redundant!
I made it to the show girl/cowgirl confrontation, and that's were I pushed the "off" button. Thought this might be fun, but it's just trash TV, too.
I doubt if I will be a regular viewer. It was touching that the lady finally made it at the poker room, after bombing out at blackjack and as a cocktail server.
Funniest part was that idiot 20-something that security arrested for indecent exposure, and his buddies tried to stick up for him.
I'm ashamed to admit I watched both but at least they were on the DVR, so no commercials.
What total BS! BJ girl-first day on the job and she is dealing. C'mon!
Dice dealer and she gets a day of training at poker and then is placed in Binion's biggest event of the year, the Poker tournament! Who are they trying to fool with this crap?
I suppose there are some people who will believe this crap, but I deleted it from the record list.
OP, thanks for the heads up, I just added it to my DVR.
