They want $245 + $50 for mandatory golf caddie. Is it worth the extra bucks for the experience?

I'm not really interested in service, just the condition of the golf course.

Any thoughts on the golf course?

I'm not Diamond/Seven Stars, so would staying at a Caesar's property needed for play?

"Worth it" is so subjective to one's own personal experience but I have played Cascata dozens of times, some comped some not.
It is a must play at least once IMHO just for the greens. The range, clubhouse with the waterfall and overall course conditions also are a must see.
As I mentioned, the greens are, month in and out, the best in the Vegas area.

Thanks for the input, Malibugolfer. You nailed my #1 priority = greens! That is a huge part of my criteria for 'rating' a golf course (the other is how fast I can play - hate waiting).

I have to decide between Cascata, SouthShore or Reflection Bay this trip.

In addition to what Malibugolfer said, getting your name engraved on your own personal locker is pretty cool too...

Lastly, you don't have to stay at a CET property or be a Diamond/7 Stars player to golf at Cascata so enjoy your round!

I've really grown to love Cascata over time.

Shifter, I'm not forgetting or overlooking. Month in and month out they are more consistently fast and smooth than Shadow. Maybe because of the more extreme elevation changes they have more contours? Although the re-done Shadow greens seem to move more than before.
The only part of my game now is 100 yards and in. Greens are what I know. Or at least think I do.
I'll be out at Shadow next week, look forward to them being their best.
