A couple of times I have checked my mlife offers and noticed that I am able to get a better offer than I have already booked. I ring them and get this changed over and its not a problem (I ring up because they always seem to be able to wave the resort fee on the phone, but it would charge me if I booked the offer online). What i am asking is, is it frowned upon to keep cancelling reservations and rebooking new offers? Bearing in mind that it is MGM who keep dangling a different carrot in front of me. Would any of you feel uncomfortable cancelling and rebooking 4,5 of 6 times for a trip.

Nope, not one bit. Get the best offer you can.

On what basis do you get them to waive the resort fee? Maybe I should be phoning in and giving a sob story and they will waive it?

I've had it twice where I have asked if the resort fees are also comped and I have been told that is correct, nothing to pay at all. granted these were at low end properties (excaliber and luxor). I asked the same question on my mirage summer offer but I have to pay resort fees there. I'm guessing it's the type of offer and/or the quality of hotel

I did this today! And I do it all the time. Highly recommended. Doubt they care. At least haven't had any trouble yet!

Even if you're not staying on an offer, if you call the hotel after you've booked or researched some prices online they are often able to give you a better rate, or at least match it.

I've cancelled and rebooked three times in the same day with MLife.
