I have 4 nights comped for a basic room at the Paris this January - my sister and I and possibly another GF will be going..

I booked a room with 2 queens and if my friend comes then we'll request a rollaway bed..

If I do the $20 trick, am I only going to upgrade my view, and not the room type? I'm thinking there are no mini-suites with 2 queen beds, right?

And if just a standard room is our only option, are there any rooms that might be slightly bigger, like a corner room or the end of the hall?

    Thanks!

We're booked - hope we can keep this trip!!!

Most of their suites are king only. If you ask for a minisuite with two beds, they will suggest getting an adjoining room. I think all the corner rooms, the P rooms, are all kings too. I think there is one suite with a double bedroom but it may be more pricey than you want even if they let you book it.
