Can you opt out of in room daily deposits?

    hello there going to flamingo on 26th aug til sep 9th just wondered wether you could opt out of the $100 a day daily deposit on the room? i have read somewhere it just means you wont be able to charge to the room, which suits me just fine :]:beer:

    Sometimes. Policies vary between hotels. Flamingo will let you but I don't recall if it is every reservation or just some of them. They also have a cash deposit option that will at least give you access to do pay per view.

    At The Flamingo yes you can... for this question that is the hotel that most likely comes up with this subject.

    Note that no charge to room includes everything including PPV, internet, etc and if you are booking an offer that requires something charged to room (IE: if you had an offer for a room and 2 free buffets) then to use that comp you have to do the room deposit.

    If your main issue is that you won't have credit card space they will let you leave a cash deposit (usually $100) if you want charge to room ability.

    usually not and they reason is its more of a security hold than anything plus a charging right.

    if your comped you might get out of it but rember if you booked directly they have cc info so they can still put a hold on it
