How is this calculated when you used different bet amounts building your way up to the free spin bonus?

I always assumed it was an average of the 5. (Ex: 3 free spin icons on Excalibur when betting 300, then 2 when betting 1500, (300+300+300+1500+1500 = 3900, 3900/5 = 780, 780 x 2 multiplier would be 1560 for your free spins.

However I was doing a max bet challenge on Frontier Fortune last week, which for me is a 30,000 bet. I got a free spin icon. Thinking I would be in line for a big bonus I bet small to get to free spins. When I hit it, the results were very underwhelming and the hits not nearly what I expected. The result was around a 2,000 or 3,000 free spin bonus. Had the same thing happen with Luxor yesterday

    If your bets where you got free spin were all truly averaged, even if you had only 4 bets of 150 to go with a 30K bet, the result should still be (30,000 + 150 + 150 + 150 + 150 = 30,600), 30,600/5 = 6,120, 6,120 x 2 multiplier would be a bonus bet of 12,240.

    Anyone else have this experience?

Pretty sure it is like the Facebook version, in that, it averages ALL of your bets since your last free spin bonus. That is why you were underwhelmed with your bonus because you probably had say 10 spins at 30k but 100 plus spins at 150 which substantially negates the 30k spins. I know at least concerning the full version of the game on Facebook it averages ALL spins since the last free spin bonus not just the spins in which you received the icon. That way people can't beat the system by getting the first few free spins at max bet then get the last couple at min bet.

I don't think they are averaged as I got 280k on one of my free spins. I was playing Mirage for only 2k spin.....

    That's possible with a 2K average bet.
