Caesars Windsor officially announced that you are not allowed to bring outside booze into the rooms now. Not sure exactly how this will be in enforced, but I imagine it is to stop the groups of young people who bring coolers of beer and party hard in the rooms.

A local casino that I frequent with the girls has the same policy. When checking in and if you have a cooler, casino personnel can check the content at their discretion. We have never had a problem putting our vodka and mix in our luggage. We do make it a point not to leave any liquor bottles in the room when checking out.

When my son comes home for the holidays, the "fab five" are planning a mini over night reunion at this casino. Erik is worried how he is going to discretely get his beer to the room. I am thinking the sisters are each going to put some of his beer in our suitcases and pack a foldable cooler to fill with ice in the room.

Where there is a will.....there is a way. We love our in room cocktails!

Sports teams (with and without children) have been using the hotel, for free weekend stays, for years.

They were comping rooms with little return.

It was only a matter of time, before they caught on.

Yes...I always used to leave a bottle right out in the open....but I won't from now on.
Don't want to give the poor maids a "moral dilemma".
Lord knows, they have enough stuff to deal with.:)
