I am a low roller but have started to get free nights. Originally we (wife and I) have 5 nights booked/comped at Caesars. Bellagio then sent me an offer for 2 comped nights mid week. Bellagio is our favorite so we booked the final 3 nights of our trip there (2 comped). I still have the first 2 nights booked at Caesars but saw my wife has an offer for 1 comped night at Delano w/ additional nights for $75. An added note is we have MJ1 tix and dinner reservations at Tender for one of the nights in question.

The reason I am undecided about just staying the 2 nights at Caesars is I think it will be more beneficial long term to concentrate my play at one company for better comps.

The offer says a suite at Delano (assuming whatever their basic suite is) and we have a Forum tower room booked at Caesars with the plan to try the $20 sandwich to upgrade to the Augustus tower.

I'm sure this is more info than you need, but which room would you choose?

If you stayed at Delano and Bellagio, you will never stay another night in Caesars. Delano rooms are all suites with a separating wall and they are very nice. Mandalay Bay has the beach which is an awesome pool if you or your wife are into that. Plus concentrating your play at one property will help. MLife properties look at the whole trip, so after your last night go to the Mlife desk and they might be able to take some charges off your bill.

I'd go with Delano. I think they do the "hotel within a hotel" quite well for such a big place. It's much quieter and calmer on that side of the property and definitely feels nicer - and the service more friendly and personal - than the rest of the MB property. The suites are nice (maybe not as nice as Augustus but much better than Forum, IMO) and quite large. And the bed/bedding is great. The wet bar comes in handy as well.

Neither casino is my favorite, but I much prefer MB's. And as you mentioned, concentrating your play at one group will probably help with future offers. Plus, MB has better VP paytables, BJ rules and probably a lower HA on slots.

And if you're going to be changing hotels anyway, I think it would be more fun to stay in two different areas rather than just moving next door (plus the cabbie won't want to kill you for making him take you from Bellagio to CP!).

Delano is an easy pick over even the nicer towers at CP. Shorter walk to a much nicer casino at MB. Much friendlier staff.
You will LOVE MJ1! Look into Cut of the Week special at Charlie Palmer.
Only the shopping (Forum Shops) is better at Caesars.

Thanks for the input. We decided to book all 5 night at the Bellagio. 2 comped and 3 discounted. It's our favorite place and hated switching hotels last year.

You can never go wrong with the Bellagio!
