If you could stay in either for the same price which would you choose and why?

I haven't had the pleasure of staying at Caesars, but I have had 2 very mediocre experience at PH in the past year. The rooms are old.. and the freaking parking (well, which isn't much better at Caesars). I think you are better off visiting PH and staying at Caesars, besides Caesars has a better mall than PH so I think you really can't lose. Caesars is definitely a step up in class from PH anyways..

I can't imagine even the worst room at Caesars isn't at least as night as the Hollywood Hip rooms at PH

Ph hip rooms are nicer then Roman tower rooms at Caesar's but unless it is a busy time you will likely get upgraded to at least a forum tower room at Caesar's for free

I agree. Go for the upgrade ($20) at Caesar's. You will get lost at least once with the parking, but after that it's a brisk 5 minute walk. Not too bad.

Oops, misread the question as Forum tower.

PH over the Roman tower for sure.

If its Forum tower, I would take that in pool season. Slightly bigger room and Caesars has a nicer pool. In winter I'd go with PH, as I like the property better and the rooms are still good.

While I haven't stayed in those two specific room types, I have stayed in both hotels.....Resort Room in PH and Augustus Tower Deluxe in Caesars. Comparing those two, Caesars wins by a long shot, but I've heard bad things about the outdated Roman Tower. As others have suggested though, it shouldn't be too much of a problem to be upgraded to at least the updated Forum Tower.

My suggestion would be this.....call to make your reservation at Caesars and ask the agent to put a note in the system requesting a room in a nicer tower. Several days before your stay, go to your reservation online and click "view details" and hopefully you will have been automatically upgraded. When you get to Vegas, go to the dedicated Augustus/Octavius check-in and see if maybe they'll put you in one of those towers. If so, score!! If not, I would assume you'd at least do better than the Roman Tower.

    Good luck and have fun!!

Thank you so much for all the advice, I have now jus switched my room reservation over to Caesars, it will cost me a total of $37.00 for three nights so I feel that I am doing the right thing. Arriving on Sunday the 18th of November after staying one night at Flamingo so I shouldn't have any problems getting an upgrade.

    Good move for your dates

If no upgrade, PH wins by a landslide--I actually prefer it over CP Forum Tower. But on you dates you will likely get an upgrade. If you can get Palace Tower or better, TOTALLY worth it--some of the nicest hotel rooms anywhere.
