Help! I'm freaking out a bit..

We were booked at MGM until a family friend who is a bit of a high roller gave us a gift card for two free nights at Caesars. I cancelled MGM and booked Caesars (how can you beat free, right?)

My only issue now is that I read online that pool loungers are $25 a person each day! That would be $100 for both of us just to lay by the pool, nevermind the drinks. It would be slightly cheaper than staying at MGM and getting free loungers if we had to pay for the room there but the problem is that our friend staying at Mandalay wanted to come hang by the pool with us. She won't come if she has to pay $25.

The girl on the phone tried to look it up and she did read a $25 charge for select seating but when she tried to transfer me to the pool house to ask it was closed.

Long story short, have you stayed at Caesars recently and did they charge for a pool lounger?

Somewhere here I posted Caesars cabana & related pool item charges which I received from a pool concierge. It stated a $25 charge for the "deluxe" lounger. My belief and hopefully it's true, is the basic lounger is the one with the metal frame with the white plastic straps across them (the ones you see around all the pools) and the "deluxe" ones are something better (than the basic). I certainly hope this is true cuz we're there next month for a week and I refuse to pay fifty bucks a day just to lay out a few hours.

I've used lounger's at CP pools and never been charged except at Venus Pool (adult pool).

EXACTLY I am hoping the basic loungers are included. I think if you had to pay for basic ones it would be widely known? I have a lounger price list but there is no basic lounger listed on it. A front desk clerk sent me the list as well as the drink list last week.

The basic loungers are free to use (assuming one is free). The deluxe loungers with the padding and prime location are $25 for the day.

MB has the same deal with their loungers. Honestly though, I would suggest you go to MB to hang out with your friend at their pool as the MB pool could easily be considered the best pool area of any Vegas resort.

Ok thanks. We actually are going to MB for 3 nights after Caesars but we are staying at Caesars before because we have two free nights.

Are there not really that many basic loungers at Caesars? We are going Mon & Tues so hopefully it won't be so busy there.

There are plenty of ``basic'' loungers at the Caesars pool(s).

I was there a couple weeks ago.

Only slight problem is the new tower (Octavius?) puts some loungers in the shade in the early part of the day, this time of the year.

Yes there are plenty of free loungers and the pools at Caesars are beautiful and relaxing. Just a note, those $25 loungers are really comfy but on weekends they are $50 each.

One thing to note with MB pool, make sure your friend gets extra room keys if you want to go to the pool before you check in. When we were there EVERYONE had to show a room key, no scanning, just show.

basic chairs are free but you HAVE to get there early to get one. By 10 am most of them were full. Not sure if it is as popular at Caesar's that early or not but MB it was/is.

Both, and really that didn't change much. On the weekend it just got a bit busy a bit earlier (lots of kids). The kids at the pool at MC were more annoying than MB, lots of lifeguards keep them in check. We only went in the morning though so avoided huge crowds.

    What province??

Oh ok good to know. I want to try to get to the pool by 10, 11 at the latest but I know my boyfriend will want to go have breakfast first. Yay for being bloated in a bikini LOL. Alberta I just changed it on my profile :)
