Hi all. Currently have reservations at Vdara (city corner) but I'm a tad worried about where Vdara is situated. We generally stay at Palazzo but the rates are just way too high for my dates so I'm looking elsewhere. We've never stayed at Caesars Palace.

What is are the pros/cons between the towers? I can get a Palace Tower Premium room for $127 a night but the Premium room isn't even on the overall map. Just the Palace Tower Deluxe. Is one tower better than the other? Octavius, Forum, Roman, Augustus and Palace?

We are going to be in town for a convention (Las Vegas Convention Center) so my spouse will be gone a lot and I'll either be meandering or in the room.

vdara is awesome and not a big deal to access the strip or other areas.

That being said caesars palace towers in order from worst to best.

    1. Roman (by far the worst rooms at caesars not on par with the rest of the hotel)

2 Forum (no bathtubs but nice rooms)

3 Palace (very nice rooms jetted tubs and showers)

    4. Augustus ( about the same as palace tower slightly nicer closer to strip)

5 Octavius ( augustus rooms just newer and a further walk)

? Nobu (newest tower rooms not sure how they compare to the others)

Caesars is one of the easiest hotels to get a free upgrade in usually to Palace tower or nicer at busy times its possible you wont get an upgrade or only to a forum tower room.

Agree. Stayed there up until a couple of days ago. Very "ok", but for the price ... Seriously, I've seen a lot worse. NOTHING like Augustus rooms! I might put the room on par with Bally's.

I **SWEAR** we had a tub in the Forum Tower a couple of years ago. I prefer at tub and I think I would have changed rooms.

Stayed in Augustus last year. Incredibly nice! Big shower and Jacuzzi tub.

Last year we had back-to-back 3-day reservations, one in each of our names, for what I assume were ROTH rooms. At the desk we asked if they could arrange it so we did not have to check out/in. The agent called over the supervisor to help out doing that, and, by the luck of the draw, I guess, we ended up in the {blow on fingernails, wipe on blouse} Augustus Tower! :)

Thank you for the reply re the CP rooms. The quote above makes me feel a little better. Mostly I hear the opposite but I was really looking forward to staying at Vdara especially in a City Corner Suite. Maybe it won't be so bad? The way everyone talks it seems like it'll be such a far walk that I'll never want to leave my room! LOL

from the lobby of the vdara to the bellagio or aria casino is no more then a 5 minute walk max. Some people act like the walk is so far. for anyone that is not mobility impaired the vdara is without a doubt the nicest rooms per dollar spent you can find on the strip in my opinion. Comparable rooms at resorts with casinos often cost double that of the vdara.

Stayed last year for the first time at CP in the Forum Tower. We liked it. This year I'm comped either the Roman Tower, Forum Tower, Palace Tower or Augustus Tower. Which should I try.

Forum Tower decor is like a less gaudy and pink cousin to the GO room. Lots of emphasis on the tech elements. Palace and Augustus have the same very elegant take but it seems like Augustus is a somehow a little more modern. The pics on the website are pretty true. One thing to point out is that you asked about the Palace Premium which is a petite suite and an upgrade over the Augustus Tower Deluxe room. It has a double bathroom with a double shower and is just frickin' huge. They are in the Palace Tower and the times we've had them, we have had incredible views of the pool complex.
