    My Trip Report

Players are myself, my husband who is a quadriplegic in an electric wheelchair, my sister who is 6 months pregnant, and my brother in law. We try to go to Vegas together once a year during football season and it takes all of us together to navigate flying with the wheelchair.

Friday Oct 17- landed in Vegas at 3:30pm and had a shuttle reservation for 4:00. We have found the shuttle the easiest way to get to the hotel with an electric wheelchair. Shuttle guy refused to load us. We will be contacting them more about this. Finally got a shuttle around 5:00 and taken to CP. Checked in in the Diamond check in area and were given the Augustus tower as reserved, but no rooms with Bellagio fountain were available. North strip view is still nice.

We then took the Monorail to MGM Grand to pick up our tickets for Zac Brown Band and headed into the Garden Arena for the show. ZBB concert was amazing, even to the people with us who aren't necessarily fans of ZBB or concerts in general. Monorail back to CP and made it into Serendipity 3 just before they closed at midnight for some dinner. Food was edible but nothing I would go out of my way for.

Saturday Oct 18-the guys headed down to the Sportsbook around 9:00am to get a spot for the day and get some bets in. My sister and I headed down to Peppermill for some breakfast and brought some back for the guys. After that journey she and I got back on the bus and went downtown to play my freeplay at The D. Played the freeplay on the slots and a matchplay at roulette, which I actually won. Left downtown and went back to CP to meet the guys and eat at Gordon Ramsey Pub. I had the burger which was just ok, but my sister had the shepards pie and said it was wonderful. After that we played some slots but couldn't win anything so called it a night around 2:00am.

Sunday Oct 19-guys headed down to the Sportsbook around 9:00am and my sister and I headed back downtown to The D around 11:00 to use my $50 food comp for food from Coney Island. Brought the food back to the guys watching football. She and I then took a leftover gyro to a homeless man on the bridge between CP and Flamingo. He was very appreciative. We headed into Cromwell for some slots and I happened on a handpay. Hit 7 4x 5x on a Megabucks $1 machine betting 3 for $3000. We then played a little in Flamingo before heading back to CP to get ready for dinner at Rao's. Rao's was good food. We ordered a few things and all shared. After that I played some more slots. Hit the major progressive on the penny Whale Song machine for $1117 on a $2.50 bet, then later hit $1000 on the $1 Western Stars machine betting 3. Good day for slots and I went to bed up about $1000 for the trip.

Monday Oct 20-we all walked to Ellis Island for some bfast/lunch then played some Blackjack. Table was terrible and we lost a few hundred dollars but had a pretty good time. Gambled our way back to CP through Cromwell and Flamingo but couldn't hit anything really. Got ready to head to NYNY where we were going to meet some local friends for dinner and see Zumanity. Dinner at Gonzalez y Gonzalez was good. Zumanity was not so good, but we can cross it off the list of shows to see now. Walked back to CP and gambled until 3:00am and didn't hit anything. At this point I am going home with the same amount of money as I brought to Vegas.

Tuesday Oct 21- go eat at Bacchanal Buffet, which was a good choice. After that we had a couple hours before we had to catch the shuttle to the airport, so the guys headed to the sportsbook to make some bets for the coming weekend and I headed to the slots. Ended up at a $5 Western Stars machine and put $100 in it and bet 3 to see if I could get lucky. After three solid hits cashed out $2500. Went and gave hubby some money for sports bets and then we were off to the airport.

I had a good solid trip with several good wins and came home with more money than I took so am now planning a return trip. I have been a TR Diamond card holder for a couple years now and when I went to Vegas had 8485 TC and was trying to hit 15000 for Diamond again. I am now at 21,000 so will be Diamond another year.

    Thanks for reading

Wow you had some great hits but seem to have lost much of your winnings during this trip as well. Any chance you have some pics of your wins? Call me crazy but I'm a sucker of big slotmachine winner pics.

So what was the problem with the shuttle bus driver? Have you gotten an answer from the company?

Sounds like a great trip. Congrats on the wins and making Diamond!

I have not had a chance to deal with the shuttle company any more yet. I think the driver simply did not want to hassle with loading the wheelchair.

I do have pictures of the slot hits, but they are on my phone and I have not figured out how to post from my phone yet.

I did give back some of the winnings, but impossible to win any more if you don't put money into the machines.
