I have a quick question for anyone that's been in a similar situation and might be able to help:

I just recently received a comp for 5 free nights at Caesar's in June. I've stayed here before a couple different times, but have only stayed in the Palace Tower. I believe they booked me in the Roman Tower for this trip, but everyone I've talked to said the Augustus Tower is the best. Has anyone ever been upgraded to the Augustus tower when you already had 5 or so nights comped? Is this something a $40 tip to the check-in person could help?

I appreciate any help or insight anyone can provide. Thanks!

Part of it depends on your card and part of it depends on how busy it is. They are going to try to bump up Diamonds and even Platinums if they can. And it seems to me, if they are slow, they will just move as many reservations out of Roman as they can. I won't tell you to bank on Augustus even with a tip because there are too many variables in play. But I think there are upsides to every tower with the exception of Roman so my strategy is just to be nice to the person at the computer and let them see what they can do. I can see why people may feel Augustus is best but personally Palace is just fine with me.

Thanks for the helpful info guys! I think I'll just talk to someone when I check in and will see what they can do. I guess the worst they can do is say no. The room doesn't matter too much to me, but it does to my wife. :) Hopefully it will all work out for the best.
