I just noticed on the website that my reservation for this weekend at Caesars has been changed (upgraded?) from an Augustus Tower Deluxe to a Palace Tower Premium. It looks like the Premium room is a Petite Suite with dual bathrooms.

I am traveling solo, so the 2 bathrooms isnt a huge deal, but I do like the Shower with multiple heads in the Palace Room. Also, I have decided to rent a car and I prefer to self-park; the Palace Tower is closer to the garage from what I can see.

Originally I picked Augustus over Octavius to be a little closer to the strip and possibly get a fountain view. But, I am staying in a Paris Red Room Premier later in the trip so this should give me my quota of fountain view.

Since I have never stayed at Caesars I am not sure if I should take the Palace Premium Room, or should I try and keep the Augustus. What are the thoughts of anyone that knows Caesars well.

The Palace Tower Premium room is totally wasted on a solo traveler. That's probably why I loved getting it on a solo trip! If you use both showerheads at the same time, you will probably get blown away because the water pressure is that good. The parking garage is still a bit of a hike but using the Appian Way through the shops makes the trip a bit more direct with fewer people to dodge. I know some people think Augustus is a better tower and room than Palace but I ended up liking Palace better. I wonder if there is a suite in Forum Tower that would be comparable. That would be really convenient to the parking garage.

Best shower in Caesars is in the Palace Tower premium room.

Yes you got upgraded. The Palace Tower Premium Room, is more expensive than the Octavius Luxury Room. Feel lucky! What did they do, did they send you an email? Or could you just see that from your reservations?
