Anyone know if it is cheaper to take a cab from Aria to the airport or the consolidated car rental center?

This is my first time doing this as I am taking a comped limo to Aria for a couple of nights and then I would need a car rental for the rest of my trip.

    Thanks.

I'm guessing the airport would be cheaper. The rental facility is a fair distance south of the airport. I would probably just head to the rental facility though. We are talking less than $5 to save the time waiting on the shuttle.

If you didn't need it for the full day, and had a reason to head down closer to Mandalay Bay, that would cut the ride in half.

Not sure which company you are renting through, but you may want to call and see if they have a shuttle that will pick you up and take you to the car rental facility. I have heard rumors about these shuttles that will take you back to the strip. I would assume they would pickup from the strip as well.

    Doesn't hurt to ask.

Many of the hotels have a car rental agency onsite. Maybe you could pick up your car at Aira. I know Mandalay has hertz. not sure which hotel has National.

Avis is most common on the strip, with the occasional Hertz and Dollar.

Airport would be a cheaper cab ride but you then need to get the shuttle to the rental centre. Not worth the bother just to save a few dollars IMO.
