Last month while flying "D" Gates, it looked to me like TSA has closed off the lesser used "C" Gate security line (The one that you have to use the C Gate tram). Wondering if anybody can confirm this, or if that security line is still open for business. Hope so, as it seems that all of the SW passengers go the standard way and lines are typically shorter.

    Thanks!

That is correct. I tried to use it last time and it is now designated TSA Precheck. You can still use the D gate security which is what i did and get to the C gates.

Correct. Both sides can be used to get to the C gates tram, but the old C gate side you're referring to is just a pre-check line now. I used it last week

Thanks for the info. With Allegiant gone from the D Gates, lines didn't seem that bad.

Good to know. Usually I depart from gates in the twenties which is closer to the new checkin so I had no idea.

Help me out. Is this the small, 1 machine area? You have to walk by the TSA office to reach it? Other large gate area (D) is to the left?

Yes, that is it. I used it everytime, but the last time it was TSA Precheck. It was never that busy compared to the actual C gate security.
