How do you guys roll? My brother and I are doing it next friday, we both want two dinners. We also both want to do the $15 Bacchanal upgrade for dinner. Thinking first meal Rio friday night about 7-8 PM. Saturday night I have that Eagles concert, so early dinner 5-6 or so at Bacchanal. The other 2 are up in the air.

Really depends on your schedule. I'll be heading to vegas next week and I do plan on purchasing buffet of buffets. Planning on doing brunch maybe around 11am-12pm at paris on a saturday, then dinner at Planet Hollywood, and since check out on sunday is usually 11am, we'll have breakfast at rio before 11am. Making that 24 hour time frame.

It doesn't sound like you have a problem/question here, that you have it pretty much all figured out:

If you want two dinners then you need to activate it at a dinner time and then the next day have dinner at a time before you activated it the day before.

So dinner at 7PM on the first day and then at 6PM the next day would give you the two dinners and then whatever you want in between.

If you really wanted to get full use out of it you might do something like:

7PM: dinner, this is when you buy it
9:30PM: go back for drinks and a light snack
7AM: go for a good sized breakfast
12PM: go for a light lunch
3PM: go for just a light snack or some fruit
    6PM: go for dinner

auggie - i don't know if that will be really worth it. you have to think about the time waiting in line sometimes. lines can get quite long depending on which buffet. it's almost spending basically the whole day at the buffets. lol

At most buffets there are usually only any significant lines at opening and at the peak dinner time of 6:15PM-7:30PM, and the opening line usually goes fast because all seating is available and its only a matter of processing the customers in.

For most of the other times of the day you'll likely only see a line of 0-5 people ahead of you.

We stayed at Caesar's about a month ago and almost every time we walked by the buffet, the line was HUGE!! There was a shorter line for Diamond and 7 Stars but the regular line had approx. 40-50 or more people waiting.

It really depends on your approach to the 24 hour buffet pass... I've used the passes at MGM properties and I always eat a light breakfast and lunch, so it was easy for me to pop in there during the late morning or afternoon to get some fruit, berries or ice cream.

But for some its a buffet and that means they have to do the three or four plates of food and its just not right if they don't leave with that "Oof, I am soooooo stuffed!" feeling. In that case going in for snacks or ice cream or something later probably isn't a good idea :) :) :)

we ate dinner at 8 pm for the start of our buffet of buffets. so we then were able to do breakfast, lunch at, and dinner the next day. so we got 4 meals out of it. 2 dinners a breakfast and a lunch. We were happy with that much. lines were no problem as we had a guy in our group who is a diamond member. so it actually worked out really well for us.

We do it once each trip and also do the dinner around 8 or so (usually the nite we arrive since we are pretty hungry from traveling), then a light breakfast & lunch then a good dinner about 7 the next day. Sometimes we just need to take a little break so we drop in for a nice big soft drink or tea along with some fruit or peel n eat shrimp. I like that Harrah's & Paris will refill your drink and let you take it out to the casino too.
