We were just in Vegas on Dec 21-23 and on the drive in to town noticed that Buffalo Bills is closed. All lights around the place were off. The property was not fenced off, but there were barricades in front of all the driveways I saw.

Does anyone know the scoop? Closed for good or just maybe for a full remodel? It would be a shame as the Desperado is a very cool coaster to ride!

WE drove back from California on the night of the 11th, and it was the same, total darkness. Didn't notice the barriers, but wasn't looking. I sure hope it isn't closed for good, we like stopping in there on the way to Mojave Preserve.

we did a side trip to los angeles on our september trip and stayed a night at buffalo bill`s on the way back.

the place was a ghost town I don`t think there were more than 20 people in the whole casino.

primm valley resort next door was much busier but the waitress there said that was just because of the crappy buffet.

totally agree that desperado is an awesome coaster.

That article is not very accurate. I stayed one night there in August and ate at the Denny's that has been there for at least a few years.

The place is pretty depressing. The casino and public areas were a ghost town. The employees were unprofessional and had an "I don't care" attitude. The rooms hadn't been updated since I was last there in 2003 and were pretty dirty. This was a great place when I was a kid and now it is just sad. I wouldn't trust the maintenance on the roller coaster judging by the rest of the place. It used to be my favorite too.

LOL it looks like I made a mistake too. All I saw was the December date and didn't bother to see the year it was written- 2010. OOOoops!

We stopped at Buffalo Bills on the way back on Monday October 29th. The casino was open but pretty quiet. Panda Express was open and we ate there. Some of the other food court places were closed.

The rollercoaster and other rides are only open on Weekends. This place only survives on the weekend LA to Vegas drivers.

All three places are up and running, well mostly, every day. I drove out and spent the night on Monday 2/4. I stayed at Buffalo Bills, the hotel, casino, Denny's, Panda Express, and The La Salsa we all open. The BBQ, ice cream, and Mexican place were all closed as well as the arcade and attractions. Next door at Primm it was similar with most places open.

Why did I drive out to Primm you may ask.... well a buddy of mine was in Vegas for a class and we met up in Primm to play golf. A great round BTW.

Casino was fun with $2 craps, but blackjack had bad rules and no good video poker. Oh well, had fun!

Stopped at Buffalo Bills in April on way back on a Sunday and it was pretty dead. Panda was only thing open in food court.

They did have table games going, $4 or $5 craps I believe.
