I live in California, so I had to wait until I found myself on the east coast to be able to enjoy one of my most favorite beers - Brooklyn Lager.

By chance I googled "Brooklyn Lager" and "Vegas" today, and one result was for a blog post in January of Brooklyn Brewery beers being available in Las Vegas.

The Brooklyn Brewery website has a search page to find places that sell their beer. A simple search using a strip zip code results in 159 locations in a 10 mile radius. Some of the better properties (Wynn, Palazzo, Vdara, Aria, Cosmopolitan, Mirage, and The Cromwell) are listed, as are some liquor stores and independent restaurants.

I think I'll start driving to Las Vegas a few times, instead of flying, so I can bring back a case or more of Brooklyn Lager.

    Cheers,

    Cosmo

The head brewer Garrett Oliver just won a Beard Foundation award, the first beer professional to win in the "outstanding wine, beer, and spirits" category.

Yeah Brooklyn makes some good stuff. And yeah checking the brewery's website is a good idea. I learned that an IPA I just tried last month (Ethos IPA from Tallgrass Brewing in Kansas) is also at Harrah's North KC from Tallgrass's website. Going to KC on Thursday/Friday...may be my first Boulevard-free trip to KC...:confused2:
