I broke my leg and my ankle. Hot day, fishing, stood up, had a white out, ended up on the pier with two compound fractures.

    Pretty painful.

That sucks. I am just getting over a similar injury that required a plate and screw.

The best thing i did for myself was to get one of the knee scooters. Really helped me to get out of the house and live a somewhat normal life.

Still having trouble getting into the walking but its a ligament issue now. my accident was 3 months ago.

Heal quickly and maybe get that 'white out' checked before your next Vegas trip.

Sorry to hear this. Heal quickly! I've been very lucky in that I've only broken one bone in my life.
Besides a snow storm, what's a "white out"?

Dude! I hope your healing process is swift and as painless as possible.

Is this going to impact any upcoming Las Vegas trips?

Cheers for a quick recovery! My cousin had this happen to him right before his 21st birthday trip. It was pretty comical when we came wheelchair to wheelchair with Larry flynt at the adult entertainment expo.

Yeah. Doc said it was brought on by dehydration.

Joe, everything goes a bright white with bright yellow highlights.

More news. Doc's own words, "You're ligaments are shredded."

Bones did not break skin but came very close to it.

Other EMT crews came into my room to see it. They said they had never seen anything like it.

The setting of the bones was absolutely horrible. Did it without anesthesia.

Good thing I moved Vegas 2015 to August.

Everyone, thanks for the well wishes. You guys are great.
