Low rolling -- I have received invitations to various tournaments at Orleans over the past few years. They invested in the slick new tournament system prior to us going there last September. In addition to the tournament, they offered a banquet with top shelf everything, including a band. Not because I collected a prize in the top 20 finishers, but I thought it was a very nice night.

Between my wife and me, we are both Sapphire in BConnected, our play is at a higher level than ever, but our offers from the four non-downtown properties are not as generous as they have been.

When we look at our profit and loss statements, we are winners only infrequently, usually losing about a grand each trip we take. I don't understand why our offers are diminishing. I would think they would be happy to see us every time we arrive.

Any thoughts? I am actually thinking about staying and playing elsewhere. Through MyVegas, we purchased two nights at Green Valley Ranch, but were unable to make a reservation between 9/10 and 9/25.

Has anyone been invited to a slot tournament at Orleans in September?

I've been invited to 2 different ones in September. I'm going back for 3 nights in October. That'll be my 3rd stay there over the past 13 months. I guess that's not enough history to comment on the consistency of their offers. So far the offers have been decent for my play i suppose

most Boyd offers will come from your home based casino. Sapphire and get monthly from MSS for 4 nights, food and $75 FP. But get very little from anywhere else

    Hey Now!
I played in the Stardust Reunion tourney in May. Nice banquet and band. Came in 16th place! Everyone I met there was gonna be at the Days of Wine and Roses tourney in Sept. They said it was really nice. But not for us this year. In Oct., I get a $250. Macy's card along with 3 nights that I booked, along with my Oct. offer for 3 nights, $50. food, $50. FP. I made Emerald, the Shiny Green Card in May. Probably never happen again......
