Just wanted to let you guys know that I've been very impressed lately with marketing offers from Boyd properties.

I've been visiting Boyd properties for the last 10 years, and for the first 9 I was definitely a low roller. I've paid for dozens of nights over the years because I like downtown and the Palms/Rio/Gold Coast + Orleans off strip location.

My last 3 trips I have really stepped it up on the VP. Since then they have been very generous with the offers. When I hit Sapphire after the first trip they gave me a Sapphire reward good for 3 nights any time at any of their Vegas properties. Free room nights were also available at a couple of their other properties. I used those offers to cover a whole week of casino hopping between Boyd properties for trip # 2. Just like trip #1, I gave them 5-10k a day worth of coin in. Trip # 3 was just a few weeks after trip # 2, no new offers had shown up yet for Sam's Town. Thanks to Timspeed I was able to get a hold of the host there and he booked me 3 nights + another 2 comp nights at Main Street Station that I booked through BConnectedonline. Again, consistent play, now I'm over 100k coin in.

Since trip # 3 the marketing offers have been relentless ( I have been home for a week). Sam's Town is sending me 3 and 5 nights offers with added bonuses (slot tournaments, blackjack tournaments, tickets, food credits etc.). I have a half dozen different offers from them alone. Main Street and California are also sending me a bunch of offers for slot tournaments and free nights (closer to 5k when I stay downtown - more distractions). I also have a nice teaser offer from Orleans where I've never given over 1k a day.

In short I could literally casino hop for 3 weeks if I wanted to on Boyd offers alone.(I've booked trip #4 and the offers I haven't booked are still available). They seem to be fine with people hopping between properties during longer stays as long as they are confident in your action.

Again I have to say that I'm impressed. I can't imagine that any other casino group treats the 5-10k VP player this well. They also seem to be fine with me playing a lot of full pay (I don't play it exclusively).

Just thought I would share in case anyone is wondering where their action will be appreciated.

Thanks for the info. How do you book your rooms (ie host, online, other)?
Do you have offers for October yet?

BConnectedonline.com. They are sending me mailers for most of these offers as well.

Generic offers for October and November are starting to show up. Specific offers for certain days (tournaments, tickets etc) so far are showing up through September only.

Congratulations on your discovery. Not too flashy but satisfactory and you are in Vegas with access to a lot of the things you were going to do anyway. Not to slight any other Corp but Boyd is good to us low-mid level rollers. And I don't think there is so much pretentiousness as you find on the strip.

Im wondering, if boyd owns borgata in ac, why dont they reach out to me or other players to stay at their properties in vegas? I underatand i can go anywhere, but seems like they are not even trying for
higher limit players from the east coast.

It does take a higher play at borgata to stay there which is gorgeous and the #1 place in ac, you would think your play would somehow be connected with vegas.

When it comes to Vegas properties at least, Boyd tends to only send you offers at casinos you play at. At Suncoast I have nothing but reduced rate available because I've never visited the property.

If you log on to BConnectedonline you can get a Sapphire rate discount on rooms in Vegas if you qualify.

Boyd only owns half of Borgata. Mgm owns the other half. That might have something to do with it.

I think both Boyd and MGM, no longer "really" own Borgata..its a totally separate players club system...

I also like that during the week they usually have some type of promo going on, like you get x points and get a bottle of wine. It makes even us low rollers feel special and if you were gambling anyway why not pick it up!

Agreed. They have some nice promos on certain days, especially for seniors (young at heart).

    Aaron,
With the "3 day" offers, does it include a $10 dining credit?
I have the same ones, sans the concerts in August..

Nice offers but, why are you getting them? What was actual loss? Are you playing high house edge games along with the full pay VP? Im always suspicious of offers that give away the farm to someone playing games the house has no edge on. Casinos would just go out of business.

We're starting to get teaser offers and such from Boyd, mainly due to occasional play at Sams Town. We're seriously thinking of trying a trip to one of the Boyd places close to the Strip, such as Gold Coast. Problem is that there are no Boyd properties local to us and we're kinda stuck with CET for the majority of the points play. Ameristar now has some kind of reciprocal thing with MGM, but nothing seems to be substantial on that yet. (And, I'm still semi-p*ssed at Boyd for dynamiting the Stardust!) :(

    Boyd has ZERO reciprocal qualities...
If you play heavy at GoldCoast...you won't get shit from SamsTown (Or any Boyd property)
If you play heavy at Paris, you'll get offers for ALL Vegas properties.
For the ABSOLUTE low-roller, Boyd is GREAT!
But if you intend on doing $10k or $25k per day...CET all the way.

I love Boyd Properties they always have taken good care of me. Haven't visited Vegas yet but looking forward to it. When they took over the IP in Biloxi they invited me down for my wedding anniversary as they just about coincided. Man gorgeous hotel! They gave me Sun thru Weds [3 nights] free! It was winter so no pool. They gave f/b and free play too - can't remember amounts but it was a chunk. 2 stories of gaming floor. Nice yummy restaurants - we tried the steak house for official anniversary dinner - they made it super special and twice to buffet for breakfast. But the very very best part was the room. I thought being it was completely free it would cheapest of the house. Oh heck no. So pretty gorgeous bay view - we could watch shrimp boats come and go. Comfy bed. Separate vanity/dressing area. The bathroom - double sink, huge Jacuzzi, separate double shower.

Anyway Boyd has always treated me good in Bossier, Tunica and Biloxi. I don't expect it will be much different in Vegas.

I've played at Boyd casinos for years and I agree their offers are very good, especially for Sapphire and Emerald. I was a frequent visitor to the IP in Biloxi both before they bought it and after, but now I go to the Vegas casinos more often. I'm also playing in the Labor Day BJ tourney at Sams Town -- should be fun. I played in the one in June and got lucky. I live in Central America now so will be flying in from there and casino hopping on and off the strip for 9 days using comp rooms! Woo-hoo!

I just received the Winter offer from The Orleans which is for November thru February it's for 2 comped night and $10 in food credit. Nice since the only strip property that use to offer me that for my play was Planet HO before CET took over!
It's also nice that they send it the first week of August, so I could find airfare well before.
