I am just looking for an idea of what is in the future with my offers. I hope you will share if you have encountered the following pattern in your offers with Boyd.
First Orleans has not changed over the last 8 years or so (maximum recall)....any two nights in a four month window with some variety of free play / food credit (minimal as in 25 $ each).
Gold Coast (my main question) has been the most tumultuous. We have gone over the last year from a low (current offer) of any weeknight (Sunday-Thursday) comped with weekends at 29 $ (which would surely include an additional resort fee of about half that) again for a four month window. Within the last year we have been offered and used last Christmas and February visit for Super Bowl--again any two nights and 100$ free play per stay (50$ a day) or 100 $ in food comps (never both). In the spring the free play / food offering went to 50 $ per stay but any night was available.
Main Street took awhile to establish but is now 4 nights (up from initial 3) and 50 $ in free play (up from original 25 $). This continues.
Play is minimal at the Orleans. Mostly one or two sessions of craps and minimal bj / vp. Always use the food credit at the Prime Rib Loft (or most of it).
Gold Coast is visited each trip regardless of where we stay for the vp. When staying off site we will put / run through 3-6,000 $ in vp at least one day; sometimes two but always one. When staying @ GC it is minimum 7,000 - 10,000 $ run through per day. This is the curious part though as we have not had big swings of play amount. We have hit a few Royals at GC this past year but I would assume they want that back and would thus entice us with more favorable offers.
I guess my question is where are we going? I know the properties and their offers are independent of each other but we have never encountered a lowering of offers in the past and again have not really altered our play too much as far as coin in goes. Has anyone else ridden the roller coaster and can shed light? Thanks.
(don't really want to get into any debates between the various casinos and which player's clubs are better/worse etc. Just looking for a shared experience)

I asked a GC host roughly this question, once. I had put a lot more $$ through (mainly VP), but had hit a couple of Royals. DW has played less, but lost. He looked up our accounts/history and credited her; he just laughed at me. I was figuring they would like the $$ through, given their average % payback. He seemed to indicate that they were only interested in 'losses'.

    Anyone else find this, too?

I was getting 3-4 free nites, and $100 FP at GC, and on previous 2 visits cycled between 7-11k per night.
I also went during SB weekend, but due to tight machines, could barely get 3k in per night.
I am still getting all the promo offers, however, the "free" days went down to 2 nights and $25 FP.

I had been a little off at my home casino, MSS, but they are still giving me 4 free nights and $100 FP.

Orleans has been consistent with promo offers, and 2-3 free nights.

So, in October, I am staying at all 3!
