My wife and I will be visiting the Borgata in AC for the first time for 4th of July weekend, so now we're trying to make meal plans. We were thinking about getting dinner at Fornelletto's. Anybody ever eaten there? Is a different restaurant there better? Anybody ever have the Borgata buffet? Is that worth a visit too?

Also, anybody visit their comedy club? What was your experience like?

    Hello Lithium

I have dined at Fornelleto and it was ok. Really nothing to recommend except for the mussels app. I do enjoy the buffet food is fresh and of high quality........ For a fine dining experience try Old Homestead steakhouse. That I would highly recommend

The comedy club is in their showroom so it's not a typical club with tables and chairs but more like a theater with the comics on a large stage. Borgata will be expensive that weekend. Did you book your room yet? Book the restaurant soon so you don't get shut out.

Yeah, we booked our room already. We're staying in the Water Club, which I hear is really nice. Typically, we stay at Caesars, but that has been sold out for a couple of weeks. We're going to get our reservations and tickets pretty soon to make sure we can get them.

It might be a little easier to get comedy club tickets for that weekend because most people will be going to the Meghan Trainor concert in Borgata's new outdoor music venue. We're skipping that show though because we have no interest in singing along with a song about how great it is to be overweight.

The Buffet is the best in AC without a doubt and with a Black Card its only ten comp dollars. We had dinner at Bobby Flay's last visit and it was excellent. We have also eaten at the Homestead and Wolfgang Puck's American Grille. Both were also excellent. I haven't tried Fornelleto, maybe next trip.

I really enjoyed Wolfgang Pucks and Fornaletto.
    Homestead is great although expensive.
Bobby Flay's has been poor my last 2 times there.

You can't really go wrong with any of the restaurants (except Metropolitan, which stinks). No one has mentioned Izakaya, which is one of my favorites, if you like Asian cuisine.

Oh, and try Noodles of the World for a quick casual meal, great Asian noodle dishes!

Big fan of Forneletto. Been meaning to try Homestead. Not the biggest fan of Bobby Flay's. Wolfgang's is good. Breakfast sandwiches at Bread n Butter are tasty.
