I just received what was probably a corporate mailer from GG. Three free nights any time Jan, Feb, Mar plus some food and small amount of free play. The only problem is that with work I can only go late April and late October. I count beans for a living, aka Accountant. Me and the wife have free nights, no food or free play at LVH thru April. I really want to stay downtown in suite of GG. On the other hand don't want to pay a lot for a room when I could stay for free at LVH. The constant cab fare will add up. BTW I am looking at 4/17-4/20, which is Easter weekend. What should I do, book LVH for free or wait and see if I get something from GG?

Save on cabs. Cab from the airport is about $25; WAX bus leaves hourly, costs 2.00 (1.00 for seniors) Can also take the WAX to get to NYNY or MGM, the Deuce or SDX for Strip activities.

Bus would be fine from airport and to the strip but not any help from LVH :< Plus LVH is kinda a downer, it is fading fast. But free is free, although I would be willing to pay upgrade to a suite downtown

Email GG and tell them the dates in April you have available to be in Las Vegas and ask them what they can do to help you. Ask for even more days than they offered in the mailer if you need them for your vacation. A host will email you back with an offer... usually for all the days you want. I have done this and sent emails to several downtown hotels and got anywhere from 2 days to 6 days back in offers... I am a low-roller!

Emailing... I have gotten offers from GG, The D, 4 Queens, Binions, Plaza, Golden Nugget and El Cortez... plus all the Boyd casinos. Choose the best offer you like! Good luck!

Many of the offers are not yet available for your dates. We tend to get ours about a month or two out. Having said that, we've booked rooms DT for our March stay in my name and hope that the spouse gets an offer for free rooms after our next trip, which we will then re-book at the reduced, or hopefully free rate.
However, we called and did get an offer of a comp rooms for a couple different nights in March from CET. Sometimes I think it is best just to call, we've had better luck that way.
