Decided to book for next Thanksgiving since we'll only have to use 1 vacation day to get 5 days in Vegas. Of course this is all contingent on not having to use a bazillion SW miles during the holiday weekend.

Now to convince DH we should go at that time of year.

I always get excited when I think about going to Vegas.

    Thanks for listening.

Which hotel? I had to call Golden Nugget for their Cyber Monday promo code, but it is a great deal 30% off all dates for the whole year, 2 Gordie Brown tickets and a coupon book.

I waited to receive the golden nugget email and it didn't come so I wound up calling, waiting on hold 30 minutes, only to be told the days I wanted were blacked out. Ended up booking mirage with cyber Monday deal with extra $100 dining credit.

Yes, I booked the Golden Nugget deal as well. I thought it was a pretty good special.

Had booked 12 nights with booking.com a few days ago, but was waiting to see if I could get a deal for July 4-7th.

With this deal I was able to get 15 nights, checking out on the 7th for under $900 including all taxes.

Just had the most horrible Thanksgiving x 2 families and I'll spare you the details, but we decided from now on, we are leaving for Vegas on Thanksgiving Day and coming home on Sunday. It is the perfect excuse to not attend either place.
