Is the serie finalie done tonight fiction or true?

I am .......we are .. troubled with the ending...

It appears Clyde, knew Bonnie would keep on killing...

And the only way he could stop it, is to have them both executed.

    It this true.. :blah:

I was disappointed with this latest "true" version of Bonnie and Clyde and tuned out after seeing several dramatized (read: made up) facts about them. I did not see that last one you noted, but it would not surprise me.

Other than the names of the characters and that they died in the end, not much else was true.

The actual car that Bonnie & Clyde were killed in is on display in the middle of Whiskey Pete's casino in Primm, Nevada. I took a drive there this past summer and saw it. It's very interesting, riddled with all of the bullets etc. There are a couple of other artifacts on display, like the bullet hole filled shirt that Clyde was wearing when he died and Bonnie's hand mirror.

I thought it was bizarre to have something like that sitting in the middle of a casino quietly, with no real advertising!! It is something cool to check out if you happen to be going that way....

    My dad knew Clyde Barrow

My dad was born in 1912 and was a teenager in Dallas, Texas when he met Clyde. Clyde was a few years older than my Dad. They used to talk to each other because they were neigbors.
My dad told me that Clyde used to like to steal cars at the time he met him.
My dad was born poor like Clyde and my dad's father was a farmer. Clyde also lived on a farm too. Clyde didn't like just anybody crossing over his land and would shoot at them to scare them away. My dad used to hide Clyde
when the law enforcement people would be looking for Clyde for stealing a
car. Clyde told my dad that he was always being accused of stealing cars even though he didn't steal them.

When my dad was approx. 18yrs.old he said that Clyde gave him a stolen
Ford car and my dad left Dallas and moved to Victoria, Texas where he met
my mother as a teenager. I always wondered how a poor teenager could
afford a car in those days. A relative told me about the car.

My dad told me that once Clyde met Bonnie he never talked to Clyde again.
Plus, my grand-father thought that Clyde was a bad influence on my dad
and told my dad to stay away from Clyde.

Yes, my mom and dad always would stop at Whiskey Pete's to gamble.
We would go look at Clyde's car with the bullet holes in it. My dad used to
enjoy telling us about how he knew Bonnie & Clyde.
My dad died a few years ago at the age of 96yrs.old.

Regarding the t.v. show: Bonnie was plain looking and Clyde was sun burned with dry skin. But the T.V. Show made them look so nice looking.
I always thought that Bonnie had ratted on Clyde to save herself and was wearing a red dress when Clyde was ambushed in his car. But in his story they say they both died together.
Clyde had psychic abilities that was called "second sight" by his family.
He knew when there was real danger around him. But I guess he chose to
die and knew he was going to be gunned down.
I am sure lots of people have their own stories about Bonnie and Clyde.
I think a lot of people met them in Texas.
