It was Sunday morning (10/13). I'm sitting at Boar's Head Bar enjoying an Irish coffee, chatting with my good buddy Jose (bartender).

Also at the bar was a husband and wife wearing Packers jerseys. I didn't realize it at the time, but I'm 99% certain it was Joe and his wife.

What an awesome couple! It's great seeing a husband and wife when its obvious they are perfect together. I love solo trips, but it made me wish my wife was with me.

Oh, you should have said something. I always enjoy meeting fellow VMBers. I tell everyone to just ask the bartender if Joe & Jody are around. 14 years of staying there, everybody knows us unless they are new. Still writing my TR.

We left MSS and headed over to Chicago Brewing Co at Four Queens for the game. Even though it was on local TV, if we get to CBC and the Bears aren't playing, we get the Packer game on the center TV with good loud audio. We can play bartop VP, watch the game and they also have good pizza!

and btw, tomorrow is #32 anniversary for us.

Assume you mean it is your anniversary. We celebrate our 26th tomorrow also! Happy anniversary to you and the wife!

We have spent several of them in Vegas including last year's 25th, but are just missing this year. We'll be there Nov. 9 to 16.

Oh, by the way, Go Bears!

    Again, Happy Anniversary!

Was Joe sitting at the first bartop on the extreme left of the bar ?
    That's where I met him + his wife ---
along w/ Turtleman + Ms. Gecko.
I just knew they were VB members !!!

I have told Joe over + over again -
"Move off the first bartop machine, it's no good !"
    :evillaugh
I think he likes playing there so he can shoot the breeze w/
all the staff - they all congregate there.

    Jose is THE BEST !

There are two reasons I like playing at #1. You are right on the first, I do enjoy talking to all the cocktail waitresses and the second is how the airflow goes at the bar. It all moves left to right and since I am on machine #1, I don't have to deal with a smoker sitting down to my left. No machine there: poke:

Maybe there is a third reason...in the past I have been very lucky on that machine, going all the way back to when it was a Treasure Chest machine.

Total count on #1: 2 $1,000 treasure chests
    8 Royals
    4 aces w/kicker.

It's been fickle lately, but I "know" it's going to show me the love again next month!

good to know about machine number 1!

even though I have no choice but to go solo now I still feel out of place at a poker bar but may try that spot next visit
