    Maybe this was incorrect, but before recently they didn't offer machines that paid out more than $400k? I assume this didn't include machines where the slot maker pays out the big jackpot (megabucks, Wheel of Fortune, etc.).

    Yeah I am guessing it has to do something with the nonprogressive machines.
