I just left a BJ table where the table rules said, "Dealer hits on soft 17's and stands on all hard 17's and 18's". I read this 5 times and something g doesn't look right. I've never seen a table rule read like this. Usually it would say Dealer hits on soft 17 and stands on Hard 17. With the specific inclusion of the dealer standing on hard 18, I'm getting the sense that the blackjack odds for this game just became more unfavorable. Has anyone seen this before or know what it means/if the odds are now less favorable?
