Taking my mom to Vegas for the first time ever this week. She is a big bingo player and wants to play in Vegas. I have identified two places that look worthwhile - Plaza and Gold Coast.

She would be a new signup with Plaza so it looks like there is a loss guarantee program there up to $100. Does anyone know if this applies to bingo?

Otherwise, does anyone know how this promo works? Back in freeplay, cash, same day, next day, all at once, in portions over time, etc.?

I look forward to getting super drunk as mom hopefully wins at bingo...

I meant to add...and anything about Gold Coast bingo you want to share...please and thank you.

If we get there early enough I can have donuts with my beer.

Gold Coast has a great bingo room. The cocktail waitress usually comes around twice per session. Limited beer options in the bingo room though.
There is a large non smoking section.
The bingo crew is very professional and the regulars take their bingo seriously. There is a small slot/vp area outside the bingo room that is pretty quiet compared to the rest of the casino. They even had quarter 9/6 JOB.

All of that is good info. My mom takes her bingo very seriously. She would also appreciate the non-smoking section. Thanks!

though I'm not a bingo player, I did play a couple sessions with my wife on our last trip to Vegas. We played at Sam's Town - you may want to consider adding it to your list of choices. Bingo Hall was large with lots of elbow room. Half was reserved for non-smokers. They appear to have 45-60 min sessions every two hours. While were were playing our first session in August, a lady won just under $30,000 by getting her bingo in the specified game in under the determined amount of numbers.

Ellis Island has bingo, so does the Silver Sevens. There are some free sessions at the EI.

How was your visit to the Plaza and did your mom play Bingo there? I am one of the Casino Hosts and your input on your experience would be greatly appreciated.

I have played Bingo at the Plaza the last three years and have enjoyed it--especially using the machines. I don't know how the daubers keep up.

One question--I received a mailing for an upcoming Bingo event--3 days room, Bingo, etc. They list the price for double occupancy. Do you knowhat the rate is for a single? Thanks.

I hate to report this, but when I tried to call the Plaza to get some more info prior to my trip... 1st time: hung up on (accidentally or not...still...) --- 2nd time: sent to player's club...confused about bingo question...sent to...catering? --- 3rd time: sent to player's club...supposedly sent to bingo hall...they had no idea how to answer my questions...which were basic: --- when are the sessions? do you have machines and what is the rate per session? stuff my mom wanted me to ask. SO, we ended up not going to Plaza...

We ended up spending half a day at Gold Coast...Mom played three sessions with her boyfriend and won a couple games to be up when we left. I played in the casino (first time...loved it) the entire time and went up and down on $1k leaving down about 50 bucks.
