Im leaving Thursday and staying my first night at MB before going to the Encore. I LOVE the dueling pianos at nyny and would like to bill my bar tab to my room at MB. Can this be done since both are MGM properties, or do I have to be staying at that hotel (nyny)?

You can do this for any of the shared MGM.
So, yes, as you noted, when you get the bartab at NYNY just tell them where you're staying and it'll bill to your room the same as if you ate at some restaurant within MB.

Thanks for the quick reply. That's what I was hoping to hear.

Just as a warning though, I'd always check first at the venue you want to charge back to your room. There are still stragglers out there that aren't in their main hotels system, much less cross property, and always a pain when you don't realize that early. It's usually an obscure restaurant or gift shop though, but I thought it was a point worth mentioning.

Jonx has a good point, but I suspect youa re safe. A couple years ago, I ate at Il Fornio at NYNY, which is a tenant instead of an MGM restaurant, and despite that they were still able to let me bill to my room at Aria
