I was at a VP Bar thu.afternoon when one of the guys was looking on his phone and said there was an eathquake in the area. Shook some houses and people we're concerned. Turned out to be a sonic boom from a Navy jet being tested offshore. The last event I remember was a few years back at the gunnery range near here when a A-10 had a electric malfunction ,supposedly and he shot up a middle school. Luckily school was closed and they were using rubber ammo.

Growing up, sonic booms were a regular occurrence, but I don't remember the last time I heard one. What changed?
