Okay I have never done this. I am not a huge gambler anyway so here it goes. My brother and I will be in Vegas for that fight on April 12. I have never bet on any sporting event in Vegas. I have done some horse betting (very little) here locally. I would like to make a small bet on this fight. I would like to bet whoever is not favored (as I think that is really the only way to make money correct?). I want it to be simple a straight bet (this guy wins) small amount (5 or 10 bucks) knowing my winnings will not be much but just to do something different. I believe Bradley is the favorite so I guess my bet will be for PAC. I have no clue on how to make the bet, what to bet on, odds, over unders (things like that) if I win where or how do I cash in. Any help of what I need to do, suggestions on betting tips anything really to help me get my feet wet on a different gambling option (and make me watch the fight at a bar or restaurant).

We will be staying at the Luxor so I guess I will be using their sports booking area.

    Thanks

Currently PAC is over a 2-1 favorite. A $10 bet for Bradley would win you $17.50 if he wins. You'd need to bet $22.50 to win $10 on PAC.

How will I find out the odds the night of the fight. Or will the the person taking my bet help me? Can I just say I want to put $10 on the underdog?

    Fight betting

Bradley is the current underdog and will be the night of the fight. All you would need to do is go into the sportsbook and say I would like to wager x amount on Bradley to win. The ticket will them tell you how much you will win based on the current odds and amount bet. Hope that helps.

Yes it helps. Do I win even if he wins by split decision or anything or does it have to be by KO?

You make money when you bet on the winner (not when you bet whoever is not favored).

However, for that small amount, I would wager on the guy that i root for (to have some fun).
And that's also playing into the odds the sportsbooks are offering. They expect way more money coming in on Pacman then on Bradley. Way more.

I would suggest you turn this bet into a parlay and pick a couple other sports games (basketball or baseball) or whatever sport you are into to sweetin your payout.
