My favorite part about Vegas is having a good drink in hand and walking the strip. Normally just have a tall beer but they get hot. What's your go too? What's some of your favorite drinks while playing that I'm not thinking of?

Man that is a good one. The big beers go flat and get warm! I know a lot of guys make drinks in their room and bring them down as well.

Check out the Purple Zebra at the Linq. I'm partial to the Irish Creme.

I'm a fan of the "travel mug" frozen frinks from one of the many daquari bars that dot the strip. Handle-lid-straw- perfect for walking around.
Then- once the drink is empty- I often rinse out the cup, and pour my comped slot drinks right in the cup. Classy, I know! : )

I am thinking about bringing my 33 ounce Yeti Ramblers on this trip and pouring everything into that. You can keep a drink hot/cold for 24 hours straight in that thing. Wonder if the Daiquiri Bars will just fill it up for a price?

I don't know about the High Life but I always seem to wind up with a big ass beer!! It is not a bad thing unless you just need something to get over your hangover.

I would start the walk with a beer and drink it before it would warm up and then pop in the shops down the strip to grab another ice cold one and so on...

Last trip I hit the Fat Tuesday's in Casino Royale for some slushy goodness and that did the trick...

That cola drink from Rhumbar sounds great

The walk up place in front of Paris is good with less expensive Margs and other frozen drinks. It's my go to spot!

I've heard there are new rules on walking around with glass, but I always enjoyed walking the strip with an open bottle of 'champagne' from a convenience store. Something about it was just so classy/degenerate I felt like a million bucks.

Sucks no glass is allowed anymore, those $1 Michs from CR just ain't the same in a cup.

If it's warm out i'll grab a Twisted Tea or a Mikes Hard lemonade/drink, they are actually still drinkable to me when they start to get warm

Didn't know about the glass rule. Good to know.

In the day time something frozen like a margarita is a good choice.
At night I like to mix something in the room and add ice. If you're not going far a couple of redd cups will keep your hand from warming it up too much.

My brother in law used to work at Fat Tuesday's at Caesars down by Cheesecake and those insulated cups with the slushies really lasted long. Pricey, but it works well.

Those giant drinks from Rhumbar, as others have mentioned, seem to be very popular.

I'm not sure how heavily the no glass rule has been enforced. Everyone I know takes glasses and bottles while walking between hotels and I've never heard of anyone having problems. Has anyone been yelled at for this?
