    If you've read my other thread you'll know where I stand atm. But long story short I am looking for suggestions for a cheap hotel that is on the strip for Saturday night 9/14. I'm comped at MGM for the Friday and Sunday night but need somewhere cheap and close for sat night. I'm trying to keep the room rate somewhere between $50-$150 as we will hardly even need the room Saturday but have to get something. I don't mind if its a Super 8, Best Western, Cheapo Deluxe, whatever! Haha thanks guys and gals I really appreciate it.

    Wow there must be some sort of convention going on because the only thing I could find was;

    Casino Royale for $189.99 and Excalibur for $324 and Luxor for $379. All CET properties were $260 and up!

    Nothing available at NYNY, Monte Carlo or Tropicana

    Yeah it's the Mayweather fight weekend. I've got similar quotes to those place, actually a little cheaper than that, but at this point I'm really trying to look into the Best Westerns, Super 8's, etc lol. There's tons of them on like Hotels.com and they say "on the strip" but obviously that could mean just about anywhere along the strip. I need to find one of those cheap hotels somewhat by the South end by MGM.

    those are crazy prices for a fight night. I have excalibur for 33$ a night deluxe room for our trip. base rooms are 29. I booked based around convention calendar though.

    There is a motel 6 on Tropicana right across the street from the MGM parking lot. Less than a five minute walk and you are in the MGM lobby. Current rate for that night is $85 plus tax.
