My dad and stepmom just decided to join my husband and I on our trip in January. Dad has MS and uses a walker/cane and will probably rent a scooter while at Caesars. I was lucky enough to have my host offer to book a second comped room for them. I told my host that I didn't want their room to be in the Palace tower (where we are booked right now) because I know that's near the pool entrance and quite a haul from the casino and the main areas where my dad will want to be (he won't leave the Caesars property for the three days that he is there). Then I specified, "any tower other than Roman that's close to the casino is fine." He set them up in a room in the Forum tower - is that best do you think?

Also, does anyone know how the bathrooms in these rooms are laid out? My dad was very explicit in letting me know he does NOT want a handicapped room, because he hates those bathrooms. But, if the Forum rooms had a separate shower from the tub, that would be perfect.

The scooter & the separate shower are your key. I take my mom a lot now and she uses the scooter and flies around like crazy. She uses her walker in the stand-alone shower (for us Paris and Flamingo Go) and in the dry Vegas heat I normally don't even have to wipe it down with a towel.

Scooter rental is about $135 a week from CET hotels. If you are renting a car you will definitely want to contact the concierge ahead of time and request they get a 'go-go' type one from the company. The standard ones from the hotel are full-size and can not be broken down & put in a vehicle.

Thanks, but he will only be using the scooter at the property and not taking it in the car anywhere. He and my stepmom are fine not leaving Caesars for the three days. So once we get to Caesars I will have them bring him a scooter (reserved ahead of time) and he can just drive it to/fro his room.

The forum elevators drop you right in the Forum Casino so that should work fine. In terms of the bathrooms, I would suggest doing a youtube search to see the rooms. I looked at one earlier, and the bathrooms looked good size and they have a two head walk in shower. The closet is also in the bathroom area.
