I am looking for the best atmosphere on a slower weeknight to enjoy a nice steak dinner solo somewhere on the strip. Would like to keep the tab under $150 with a martini and a couple glasses of wine.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Craftsteak @ MGM has a great bar for dining. The bartenders are very friendly and knowledgeable about the food, wine and booze they offer. And the food is outta this world, IMO.

I've also had very good experiences at SW and The Country Club at Wynn. Though I was underwhelmed with the sides and my salad at Country Club. (SW, on the other hand, was excellent all around.)

$150 is easily doable with any of these places. But not so easy that you can just ignore the wine/booze prices if you really need to keep the check under that amout.

Craftsteak has a nice bar, but there is no look through (there are TVs).
You might try Gallagher's, the bar has a nice look through, so you have plenty to look at.

I second SW -- great food and friendly bartenders.

You could go with Carnevino and the Taverna menu. 16oz NY Strip is $61 and a 12oz Filet Mignon $64 (sides are $7.00). Happy hour is 3 to 5, cutting your cost for drinks.
