I liked the pool scene in "Cocoon".

    Not the sequel.

I hear the Days Inn on Paradise offers free denture cleaner and Depends during Happy Hour.

I think that reducing the backwards-hat-wearing dude factor would go along way to a good pool scene for an older person. If it were me, I'd go upscale. Four Seasons comes to mind.

I think just about anywhere that didn't have a DJ and refer to themselves as a "Beach Club" would be great.

My 80 year old Dad likes to go
to the pool at Hooters with his buddies. Pretty sure the are not there for the older ladies, though

70 is still too young for Sam's Town.

Not a great pool scene but the Cal Downtown has a mediocre pool on the roof of the west wing. Quiet, hardly anyone uses it. No DJ's, pool bar, or cabanas. Just a concrete pond. Great if you just want to do laps for fitness.

I don't care how old you are, if you can't see young stuff in bikinis, then you might as well sit in your bath tub.

I would recommend the pool at Paris...it's large, water is deep enough to swim in, gets lots of sun, has a laid back atmosphere and there's no shortage of lounge chairs.
