A group of six of us are planning to get a table/bottle service at a pool club on a Friday in mid-September. Curious as to which pool clubs are the busiest and/or have the best party scene on Fridays. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

    Thanks

Personally Encore Beach Club. Zedd is the 1st 2 Fridays in Sept. Saw him in May and very solid. TJR is the last 2 Fridays in Sept. A different set with more open format/mashups the 2 times I have seen him.

Wet is really good but I don't see anything lined up on Fridays after LDW that Friday with Steve Aoki.

September is the winding down time for pools as most are done by Columbus Day weekend in October.

Fridays are hard for pool parties since everyone is getting into town and they are dead. I honestly wont recommend a pool party for a friday without a good deal on a cabana and bottle service. There are a lot of locals who go out early on Fridays for the pool parties and local deals. Is it 6 guys? I might be able to work something out for you somewhere and when are you going in sept? I would say just lay out at your hotel pool and relax and party fri-sun night. It will be perfect weather in mid sept.

If you are worring about pool parties and table service, I would do ebc and wet imho. I always get cabanas and bottle service there and its a great time.

As the poster above wrote, Friday day clubs are hard to predict. I went to Marquee day club on a Friday and personally had a fantastic time and it was a solid party. I don't think you can ever go wrong with Encore as well.

UPDATE: We have a dance floor table reserved at Wet Republic on Friday, September 18th for a 1K minimum right now. We are a group of 6 guys, so that didn't seem too bad, as we will spend that regardless.

Curious as to what Paperposter meant by "comp" and what Broncofn meant by "good deal on cabana or bottle service". I have been able to negotiate bottle deals at nightclubs in the past, but wasn't sure if the same type of deals would work at a dayclub (i.e. buy 1 get 1, or buy 2 get 1)?

We are staying at the Venetian, so there isn't much of a scene there at their regular pool. As a result, we are definitely looking to go to a pool club and kick it up a notch on Friday, as this will be the only day we are doing the pool this trip (we will be in the sportsbook betting CFB on Sat and NFL on Sunday).

I was thinking Wet Republic will be busier because its the weekend of the I Heart Radio Music Festival (which I think is at MGM). If you guys think EDC at Encore will be a better time, please let me know.

    Thanks!

comp means free entry were you dont pay to get in or have to by a bottle.

its a friday wich means its slow so getting in is very easy and can be free if you try hard enough, but on saturday and daynite especialy you will have to pay a cover charge or buy a bottle so its better to use the bottle service when you need it otherwise 6 guys on saturdaynite might be waiting a long time to get into a club. just a suggestion.

and usualy people who go full steam with bottle service during friday at day club dont wake up till saturday morning.just a heads up i see it all the time.

i heart wont realy matter its targetted to young kids and the artist sound check that day and saturday.but will host after parties at clubs, i heart has gone down hill after the first year its really a joke now also they have daytime concerts also now at i heart village

1k min isn't bad for wet but it will be slower. Thats only $250-300pp and you will most likely spend that somewhere else. What I meant was what you have done by making an arrangement beforehand. If you get a b1g1 or b2g1, make sure you do not have to pay the taxes etc. I learned the hard way awhile back. I actually get in that morning and might join you  just kidding

Yep, good call. They don't talk about the extra fees that figure in on a $1,000 table.

Thanks for the replies and the advice. We are a group of seasoned vets, so I am not too worried about blowing our wad during the daytime. Besides, we need to be up early in the morning the next day for CFB, so I don't think we are planning on going to a regular club on Friday night. We have a dinner reservation at STK and will probably head to bed at a somewhat decent hour (in theory, which of course will never happen).
