We will be in DT Vegas the first week of March, and there are a couple games I want to watch that weekend! What is the best place to catch a game? I have been downtown many many times but never to watch a game, so a little confused. I was thinking maybe Chicago Brewing Co, but havent been there before. Would like to sit at a bar and watch, maybe Longbar at the D although it was pretty noisy in there last year, but maybe not in the early afternoon? Where else would you all consider or recommend? If I sit down at the place and the game is not on, do I just politely ask the bartender to change it? Thanks all!

Good morning...How are you?...Regarding the TV channel at the bars...I've learned the bar folks must wait on directions from the sportsbook personnel on when to make changes.I learned this a couple weeks ago from the bar folks. Most of the times,it's out of their hands.

    Take care

I actually sat at that bar for awhile last trip, hit quad 2's on ddb vp and got the progressive. It was mid afternoon though and the first half hour I sat there the bar wasnt even open. A small asian guy finally came and opened it up and started comping me beers for vp. I hit the progressive which paid like 300 and tipped him a $10, he kept the beers flowing pretty quick after that. Its a neat place but just wondering if it will be open when games are on.

I agree with Plaza sportsbook bar, I have watched alot of games there, its a pretty decent setup and cheeeep drinks.

Also, The upstairs bar at the D seems like a nice spot to check out a game, Although I never have watched an entire game there. Everytime I have been up there, crowds have been minimal, so you may be able to score a prime spot.

Chicago Brew pub is inside of 4 queens, correct? If its what I think it is, I have been in there and enjoyed it. Food was great! Its nice and dark in there, like a good bar should be. Lots of TV's, but just know it is a cigar lounge and that is a dealbreaker for some.

Yes it is inside 4Queens, Cigar smoke wont bother me much, anyone know if they have a bar to sit at with tv's in there? How about VP? Maybe I will cruise down to the Boars Head at MSS, could play vp there and get tasty trip 7 beers!

I like the idea of the Plaza Sportsbook bar, just not sure it will be open that early, think games are at noon both days, maybe earlier since they will be in Indiana. Will have to eyeball it that morning I guess!

Couple of points. Boar's Head & 777 only have basic cable service. Local channels, ESPN and that is about it.

Chi Brewing has 2 TVs at the bar. One center and one to the right and they are independent of each other. They have all the services, MLB, NFL Sunday Ticket, NBA, NHL etc. They are controlled in the bar, not by the sportsbook. Usually the audio is on from the center TV. There are another 5-6 TVs in the other dining area, but just 2 at the bar and one by the couch area.

You just have to watch who you sit next to. Especially the better half but when she hits a royal after 5 hands all is good! Bar in front of these 2 TV's only has about 10 seats.

MM games start at 9am so that might be an issue for CBC.
