I'm headed to Las Vegas next week and was wondering if there were any free play offers or "coupon books" or anything like that for signing up for Mlife. If so, do they vary by property and how so? I probably will not be gambling at a high enough level to worry about comps or any kind of "status". Just curious if there are any instant freebees that are worth it. Thanks.

    No.

For the longest time their signup bonuses were:

    MGM Grand: free key chain
Luxor: a free shirt after you earned a bunch of points
Everywhere else: $5 or $10 in free slot play

I don't know if MGM still gives out the key chain or not, or if Luxor still has the shirt promotion.

If you are staying at an MLife property I would just sign up for the card when you get there so you can make sure you are earning points right away. If you aren't staying at one of their properties then I'd just sign up for the card at the first one you go to... so you can start earning points right away :)

I signed up at Mandalay Bay last week and they just gave me a card and that was it.

Excalibur might still be offering $5 in free play.

If you play both slots and tables, I would avoid getting a card from the pit boss at a table. You will still have to go to the MLife desk to setup your pin for pointplay in slots.

I think the Mirage was offering a bunch of stuff depending on how many points you earned.

The Mirage has a promo for new members that you get $5 free slot play after you earn a few points and then earn a few more points and you get 2 free buffets.
