Go across the street and have breakfast at Morel's or Bouchon.

We often eat at Cal Pizza. Stack was also quite good. BLT burger was meh, I'd rather go across the street to KGB in Harrah's. We normally bring breakfast, the only one we had was the buffet, and all I really remember was the endless mimosas!

Also cross the street and check out Grand Lux in Venetian, I've liked everything I've had there.

I had breakfast there on my last trip. While I wouldn't have lunch in the place again, their breakfast was really good.

KGB has been closed for about a year. Due to Kerry Simon health. And eventual death from MS

Breakfast: #1. Bouchon across the street @ Venetian - the best!
Pantry @ Mirage - good pancakes

Lunch: Grand Lux Cafe or Bouchon @ Venetian
In a pinch - California Pizza Kitchen @ Mirage

Dinner: Portofino or Stack @ Mirage
Better steaks found elsewhere - although Heritage Steak (Tom Callechio) is ok

Put me in the group who say cross the street and go to Bouchon for breakfast; you'll be glad you did.

I also agree with Grand Lux at Venetian (or Palazzo; there are two).

Stack is excellent. CPK is busy but just what you would expect if you have eaten at one before.

I like Carnegie Deli for at least one of your meals.

I will answer your original question which was AT THE MIRAGE. My latest trip was last August, so things may have changed. I have stayed there about 8 - 10 times, so I have a little background.

Breakfast - Carnegie Deli. They really streamlined the service here. Service used to really suck but you order at the entrance and just find a seat. My breakfast was out in under 10 minutes, coffee was there as soon as I sat down. If you want to take out, the breakfast bagel sandwiches are good.

Buffet - Good omelet station. Other stations have fairly hot food, a must for me. A nice carafe of coffee. Endless breakfast cocktails.

Lunch - I don't eat lunch, but if I did, it would probably be The Pantry, for lack of something better. Again, Carnegie Deli has good sandwiches. I wouldn't go to BLT if you put a gun to my head. Too many bad experiences. The milkshakes are excellent, however. The place out by the pool. I've never eaten there, but it's an option. California Pizza Kitchen - Well it's a chain, but I find it to be good place for a cold brewski and some pizza. I have not yet been to the new one.

Dinner - There are about 3 really fancy places that are Italian, Japanese and Seafood (I think). I've never been to any of them, but they look nice from the outside and their menus sound good.

STACK - It's pretty good, a bit noisy. Waitresses look like models. Had a good steak here. Ask for the Prix Fixe menu.

Heritage Steak - Planning to check this out. I'm not a foodie. Just throw some meat and baked potato out there. Looks like it has nice ambience.

Buffet - You have to catch at the right time. My advice is to go early. My experiences have been up and down. Last time, it was pretty darn good.

Note: IMHO, The Pantry is way overrated.

Well that sucks. I guess we never made it over there last trip in November? Great place, went almost every trip.

Did have breakfast once at Carnegie. Large sandwich, a little too much egg for me but good! Perfect to share.

Stayed at the Mirage last August and this past January. The Pantry sucked both times. Their french fries taste like cardboard, the tortilla soup was blah. Carnegie's Deli is awesome, you can order a half sandwich with a side and drink. CPK is the same wherever you go. And I thought BLT was just ok. A little small for a burger but I don't know if they've reopened yet. And to mirror other posts, Bouchon is awesome!

Ditto BLT burger being "meh". Plus it's al a carte. Walk across the street to Venetian. They have a solid food court (LOWER level food court has a good quality burger place, upper level is like a mall food court) and a good Italian place (NOT in the food court, an actual restaurant) that has a great flat bread pizza for around 10 bucks (probably only feeds one, but still!). Personally I was surprised to find the Venetian had better, affordable food options than Mirage, but that's just my two cents.

BLT was shut down recently for cleanliness issues, I read about it on one of threads here. I think they reopened, but I wouldn't risk it.

On the other hand, I can have the hot pastrami sandwich at Carnegie Deli any day, any meal :)

Carnegie Deli, I get a BLT at the end of my night. It is such a big sandwich that I save half of it for when I wake up :)

I stay at the Mirage often and would have to say that the breakfast options are below average. Carnegie Deli probably the best option in the casino. I have never cared for Pantry-slow service, mediocre food. Check the menu options at the Paradise Cafe near the pool. Might be the best option on the property for breakfast.

Though it's a chain, I do enjoy CPK, really good salads. Never cared for BLT-would rather eat at Pantry.

Dinner is the best option in terms of good choices at the Mirage. My favorite is Stack, cool vibe, hot waitresses and good food.

I am still sad about this. It was my favorite burger place in Vegas.
